NEXT Distro and MoNetwork
NEXT Distro is an online and mail-based harm reduction service designed to reduce opioid overdose death, prevent injection-related disease transmission, and improve the lives of people who use drugs. A portion of ENACT’s funding will be used to supply and expand NEXT Distro’s mail-based naloxone program through the Missouri-based NEXT Distro affiliate - MoNetwork.
PreventEd
PreventEd works to prevent the harms of alcohol and other drug use through education, intervention and advocacy. PreventEd offers prevention programs for grades K-12, overdose education and naloxone distribution (OEND) training, drop-off/safe disposal services, assessment and referral services, all in addition to advocating for legislative policies that reduce the risks of substance use. ENACT coordinated OEND trainings will be facilitated by PreventEd staff. This will increase the knowledge of the PreventEd referral pathway for first responders across urban and rural areas in Missouri.
